WXN created the Canadian Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (CEDI) Summit to tackle the big questions and pressing problems that Canadian organizations face with regards to increasing the representation of women and underrepresented groups at all levels of leadership. Stemming from the results of our Annual Report Card in 2020, our mission was simple (but nonetheless important): it’s time to push the envelope on representation. Why are there so few women, and equity-deserving groups in particular, in leadership positions? What barriers, implicit and explicit, continue to limit opportunities for underrepresented groups? What is being done within Canadian organizations to provide everyone with a chance to thrive and advance their careers? Questions such as these guide our Summit and generate meaningful discussions about the knowledge and skills we can all use to create more equitable, diverse and inclusive spaces.
Our CEDI Summit and Awards bring insights to you directly from our community of CEDI Award winners, EDI[B] thought leaders, and members of the Diversity Council of North America. These are critical conversations that we carry forward year after year. This program has been approved for 4 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours by the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA).
