YEDI is a Canadian charity that, since 2013, has sought to identify and propagate the leaders of tomorrow – free-thinkers and outliers that bring audacious and transformative ideas with them. YEDI ensures these impactful ideas are protected and nurtured through our structured programs and mentorship. Tuition-free for Canadians and available to entrepreneurs worldwide, YEDI has empowered visionary leaders with access to the tools and resources they need to manifest the change they want to see in the world. Each makes essential contributions to the broader economy with their businesses and not-for-profit organizations. When these innovative entrepreneurs are supported and encouraged, they grow into the passionate, dedicated and inspirational leaders the world needs. At YEDI, professors, instructors, and facilitators actively collaborate to pursue meaningful change that benefits everyone. The result is an economy rooted in innovation, leveraging the latest technology to inspire creativity and imagination to grow and thrive. Each generation builds on the success of those that came before, taking steps forward to benefit all members of society. It is said that a rising tide lifts all boats, a fitting aphorism for YEDI’s core purpose. We embrace our values as we strive relentlessly towards the betterment of society as a whole.

1. Entrepreneurship Education: YEDI offers comprehensive entrepreneurship education programs that equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the business world. These programs cover various aspects of entrepreneurship, including business planning, marketing, finance, and operations. YEDI also offers programs specifically tailored for not-for-profit leaders.

2. Business Acceleration Campus: YEDI’s Business Acceleration Campuses offers spaces such as; manufacturing, food manufacturing, medical, TV studios, theatre, offices, co-working space, and many more. Residents of the YEDI Business Acceleration Campus can stay for up to 5 years. During this time, they will have access to all of YEDI’s resources, mentors, networking events, and much more. The participants of the Business Acceleration Program will meet with the Program Advisors to set up milestones and to get additional necessary support.

3. Funding and Investment Support: YEDI assists entrepreneurs in accessing funding and investment opportunities. They provide guidance on funding strategies, connect startups with potential investors, and offer resources to help prepare investment pitches and secure financing. YEDI also offers a VC Fund for our graduates and members of our Business Acceleration Campus.

4. Industry Partnerships: YEDI has established partnerships with various industry leaders, organizations, and institutions. These partnerships enable entrepreneurs to gain exposure to industry insights, connect with potential customers and collaborators, and access specialized resources and expertise.

5. Webinars and Events: YEDI organizes webinars and events on topics relevant to entrepreneurship and business growth. These events provide valuable learning and networking opportunities, allowing entrepreneurs to connect with like-minded individuals, industry professionals, and experts.

6. International Programs: YEDI offers international programs and initiatives aimed at fostering global entrepreneurship. These programs include a two-week accelerated educational program for International entrepreneurs hoping to bring their businesses to Canada. YEDI also offers access to our Start Up Visa program, for International entrepreneurs to bring their businesses to Canada.

7. Social Innovation: YEDI recognizes the importance of social entrepreneurship and supports ventures that aim to create positive social impact. They provide resources, mentorship, and tailored programs for entrepreneurs looking to develop socially responsible businesses.
